Kardii grammar: Pronouns





Personal Pronouns


There are eight personal pronouns used in Kardii. These are as follows:

pa I/me. Also means we/us if you do not refer to the person you are speaking to.
sayWe/us. Always includes the person you are speaking to.
kiYou.
iraThem. Refers to one person, either male or female.
ireeShe/her.
iruHe/him.
anThem (plural).
syIt (Lit. 'thing'). Never used to refer to people.
daWho?


Politeness When Addressing People


In polite or formal situations, a person can be addressed with third person pronouns, or their profession or title.

Note: A person's name and title are two different forms of address and are seldom used together.
